V&A Waterfront – A comprehensive insight of the underwater world

The Two Oceans Aquarium is located at the V&A Waterfront and offers a comprehensive insight of the underwater world. In around 30 basins you can explore the species of the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. At the moment, the aquarium presents 100 different species, such as seahorses, clown fish, giant crabs, sharks, penguins, turtles, luminous jellyfish, rays, morey eels, frogs and seals.

One of the attractions at the Two Oceans Aquarium is the 2 million litre tank (“The Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit”). Here you can see up to 4m long sharks and rays swimming in the several storeys high tank.

At 3pm every day, a diver feeds the predatory fish. This is a spectacular experience for the guests, especially children. There is also the option to book a dive with the sharks in the tank.
